381 Projects has curated ‘Never Alone,’ a group exhibition that opens next week in Toronto. The show features works by Dennis Chow, HVW8, Paul 107, Marco Cibola and Tracy Maurice.
The exhibition explores the affects of music on visual artists.

Here’s a short from the HVW8 excursion to Philly and Atlanta last month in celebration of the adidas city series. Black Spade rocked the live set, Dan DSTRBO did the painting and Ty G with Rich Medina, in Philly, and with Daz-I-Kue and Karl Injex, in ATL, laced the tunes. Lot’s of fun, BIG UPS to Taayib, Kaos and everyone who made the mini tour happen. Shot and edited by the Frolab.

DECEMBER 1st is WORLD AIDS DAY and is also the month AFRICA HI-FI feels the need to pay tribute to JEAN- MICHEL BASQUIAT (December 22, 1960 – August 12, 1988).
So, on FRIDAY DECEMBER 8th 2006 artist TYLER GIBNEY (TYG) from the HVW8’s is coming out from LA to complete the celebration by creating a LIVE INSTALLATION during the evening… while AFRICA HI-FI MASTER RESIDENT DJ, RON TRENT provides the musical inspiration. As always, SONIA H. will be providing the highest vibrational mood for the evening.
